Under the direction of Music Director William Intriligator, over 60 professional musicians in the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra perform a repertoire of classics, pops, opera and chamber music. In addition, the orchestra provides meaningful and accessible learning opportunities such as: open rehearsals and pre-concert lectures; The Dubuque Youth Symphony Orchestra, Philharmonia and String Ensemble and Wind Ensemble; Arts Trek, a free concert for thousands of 3rd and 5th grade students; and the Adopt a Musician program in which orchestra members serve as teaching artists in 4th grade classrooms.
