Located in Dubuque, IA, Mt. Pleasant Home is the affordable choice for anyone. Mt. Pleasant Home provides a home-like, worry-free environment in a beautiful setting to support the independence of up to 38 residents. We are a non-profit charitable organization. Our mission is to provide housing and service options for individuals, with emphasis on serving a diverse population and giving priority to those with limited financial resources and inadequate support systems.

AFFORDABLE RENT
Rent ranges from $825 to $2000, depending on the floor plan. Rent includes: 3 meals every day, all utilities, cable TV, Wi-Fi, weekly housekeeping, twice weekly laundry, parking, arranged transportation, activities, access to the entire grounds, and more.

HOME-LIKE SUPPORT
Residents enjoy respect for their privacy in a home-like environment. Residents interact with staff at least four times each day. Formal and informal social activities are encouraged by community rooms and outdoor areas.

BEAUTIFUL SETTING
Established in 1874, the facilities are built around an 1850's mansion set on a wooded, landscaped acreage in a quiet, centrally located neighborhood. Our campus includes a library/media room, puzzle areas, a parlor with aviary, a designated outdoor covered smoking area, a beautifully manicured yard, a gazebo, fire pit, raised garden boxes, benches and outdoor seating, and more.

FAST ADMISSION
Admission for short- or long-term stays can occur overnight. There are no income limits. Our non-profit charity status, endowment, and dedicated volunteers all reduce rental costs.

Located off of Loras Blvd. in Dubuque, Iowa. If headed east on Loras, turn left onto Mt. Pleasant St. If headed west on Loras, turn right onto Mt. Pleasant St. We're at the end of the block.
