Provide shelter for lost, stray, abandoned & unwanted animals in the tri-state area. Services include: adoptions, boarding, cremation & pet cemetery, humane education, cruelty investigations & pet visitations. Active volunteer program.

• Over 2,700 animals taken in and provided with life-sustaining care in 2024
• In 2024, over 1,900 cats, dogs, and critters found loving homes via adoption
• Over 100 cats adopted from the Dr. Peter and Ginger Sakas Working Cats Program in 2024
• 250 families were reunited with their lost animals in 2024
• Our low-cost microchip clinics provided 145 microchips to the public in 2024

From Hwy 20: Take Hwy 20 to the NW Arterial (US-52 N) exit. Head north on NW Arterial for about 2.5 miles. Turn right onto Chavanelle Road. Continue straight for 0.6 miles; the DRHS is on the left.
