Young Professionals, discover Dubuque like never before with a special YP City Life
Unlock a new perspective on your city with YP City Life, a partnership between the Dubuque Area Chamber’s Young Professionals and the City of Dubuque’s City Life program!
YP City Life is a free, six-session interactive program designed to give young professionals an inside look at Dubuque’s local government. This behind-the-scenes experience will help you better understand how the city operates, the services it provides, and how you can get involved in making a difference in your community.
Each session will feature:
- An introduction to a specific city department
- A guided tour of a city facility or project.
- A complimentary meal from a local vendor.
One of the program’s goals is to empower young professionals to engage in their community, including opportunities to serve on one of Dubuque’s 149 City boards or commissions. Currently, only 28 members self-identify as under the age of 40 — and we want to change that!
Program Details:
- Six sessions will take place once a week starting in May.
- Each session will be held after work hours for approximately two hours.
- Meals will be provided for all participants.
Don't miss this unique opportunity to connect, learn, and lead. Space is limited — register today to secure your spot!
