Western Dubuque Weekend Backpack Food Drive, sponsored by Western Dubuque Lions Club and Epworth United Methodist Church, will be Saturday, Oct. 11, 9-11 a.m. at Silker’s Grocery Store in Epworth. We are seeking donations of single serving sizes of juice, cereal, oatmeal, granola bars, fruit cups, poptarts, microwavable meals, canned pasta and vegetables. The backpacks of food are provided to Bobcat elementary students-in-need, over 100 per week.
