Event Description:

The Dubuque County Master Gardeners will be conducting a hands-on workshop to teach gardeners how to extend the season and get two, maybe three, crops each year in the same space. The workshop will be held on Thursday, October 1st from 6:00 - 8:00pm at the Dubuque Rescue Mission Garden behind the Canfield Hotel, 36 W. 4th Street.

Participants will help construct a cold frame ideally suited for the home garden, plus they will learn about fall plantings, succession planting, row covers, and hoop houses.
