Event Description:

The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce will host Power Hour on February 14th, 8:00-9:00 AM at Hotel Julien Dubuque. Our presenter will be Tut Fuller, Capra Bank, sharing, The State of Banking, Nationally and Locally.

Dr. Fuller is a fourth-generation banker who most recently oversaw approximately half of the HTLF footprint—and roughly $10 billion in assets—as regional president. In this role, he led the fast-paced turnaround of three member banks and integration of HTLF’s largest acquisition. He previously served as President and CEO of Dubuque Bank & Trust, where he grew assets from $1.3 billion to $2.2 billion and drove the bank to be the most efficient one under the HTLF umbrella.

Fuller received his B.A. in Biology with minors in Chemistry and Business from the University of St. Thomas, where he also was an Academic All-American in tennis. He earned his Medical Doctor Degree from the University of Michigan, while concurrently receiving his MBA from Michigan’s Ross School of Business. Prior to working with HTLF, Fuller served as a team leader at Bain & Co., a top three global consultancy.

Throughout these experiences, Fuller has taken pride in performing at the highest possible level. He considers himself a lifelong learner and finds joy in the process of creating something unique and special. That is what he is doing with Capra Bank.

Taking his wealth of family and personal banking experience, Fuller is building a bank that delivers something extra to the clients and communities it serves. He believes in building a true team, where elite talent works together to achieve a common goal and help others reach new heights. Fuller knows that combining top-notch talent with modern technology can give clients the edge they deserve. And when a bank is built on a foundation of integrity, making local decisions that benefit the local community, it can have a positive ripple effect that elevates everyone.

Fuller lives in Dubuque with his wife, Ali, and their three children. He’s an avid outdoorsman and adventurer, with a passion for exploring and viewing the world from a new perspective.

Power Hour is held monthly from October through May for local business and community leaders to network with colleagues and peers while gaining valuable insight from informative presentations on today's hottest news topics. Powerful Presentations for Business and Personal Success.
