Join us for Power Hour on April 13th with Dubuque Police Chief, Mark Dalsing, sharing, "Policing during a Pandemic: Dubuque's 2020 Crime Data."

Mark Dalsing is the Chief of Police for the Dubuque Police Department. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Criminal Justice from the University of Wisconsin-Platteville, an M.B.A. from the University of Dubuque, completed the FBI National Academy in Quantico, Virginia, and completed the Presidential Leadership Scholars program at select presidential libraries.
 
Chief Dalsing has served with the Dubuque Police Department since 1989 and has served at all ranks and in each division including in patrol, community policing, investigations, and administration. He has served on the department’s Tactical Response Team, Crisis Negotiations Team, Honor Guard, Mental Health Intervention Team, and remains an active member of the City of Dubuque’s Intercultural Competence teams, as well as on the citywide Inclusive Dubuque initiative. He was promoted to the position of Chief of Police on Feb. 1, 2010.
 
Chief Dalsing also serves on the board of directors of United Way of Dubuque Area Tri-States and is an Adjunct Professor in Criminal Justice at the University of Dubuque.


The Dubuque Area Chamber of Commerce presents Power Hour, a program held monthly for area business and community leaders.
