Name: Nature's Bill of Rights morning to address the rights of God's earthly creation
Date: June 10, 2015
Time: 9:00 AM - 12:00 PM CDT
Event Description:

Presenter: Meg Gemar OSF* We all know about the U.S. Constitutional Bill of Rights. How about writing a bill of rights that also reflects an ecological point of view? It would address all areas of life that integrate economy, security, political and cultural systems, as well as the rights of plants, animals, and the land. We will spend time with the U.S. Bill of Rights and time in nature as background for this creative endeavor to address the rights of all God's earthly creation.

No particular experience is required. The day will begin at 9:00 am and conclude with lunch. Participants are encouraged to wear clothing & shoes comfortable for walking in a natural prairie area. * Meg Gemar has master's degrees in Physiology and Earth Literacy (an integrated degree) and was an instructor in the biological sciences for many years.
