2020 presented many challenges for the tourism industry as traveling came to a screeching halt. What does that mean for travel today as we enter the 2021 summer season post-pandemic? Hear from Keith as he talks about the state of the industry, what can be expected, and what is to come.
As President & CEO of Travel Dubuque, Keith Rahe's responsibilities include program development and implementation. He has been involved with the Field of Dreams, its world-famous Ghost Players and the National Farm Toy Museum in Dyersville, Iowa and the many events that these two attractions have hosted over the last 30 years.
Rahe has extensive experience with event coordination in the United States and across the world. Some of these would include Ghost Players tours, America’s River Festival, Team of Dreams, the Dubuque Grand Excursion, RAGBRAI in 2007 and 2010 to name a few.
Currently, Rahe serves on the boards for Upper Midwest Convention & Visitors Bureau (UMCVB), Iowa Tourism Industry Partners (ITIP), and other organizations across the state of Iowa and in the Dubuque area.
