Celebrate the color of music as seen through the eyes of artists of all ages. See over 50 works submitted by community creatives to the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra and the Dubuque Museum of Art.
DuMA is a First Friday Trolley Stop, so hop on the trolley and explore all our galleries. Open until 7 pm with free admission, access to all DuMA exhibitions, family art-making activities, and a cash bar with non-alcoholic options.
The Color of Music is a community-wide art exhibition presented in partnership between the Dubuque Symphony Orchestra and the Dubuque Museum of Art. The exhibition brings together 2D artworks created by artists of all ages, each responding visually to the musical work of Jean Sibelius’s Finlandia. Visitors can experience the full range of community creativity through works displayed in DuMA’s physical gallery space as well as a digital presentation available onsite.
Admission is free. All are welcome.
