Divine Word College Seminary in Epworth, Iowa is hosting their 2nd Annual Benefit Golf Outing Friday, July 22 at Timberline Golf Course south of Peosta, Iowa.

The fun will begin with a shotgun start at 1 pm for the four-person, 18-hole best shot format. Social and dinner will begin around 5:30 pm. A silent auction and raffle will also be part of the evening program.

Cost per golfer is $80 and includes, golf, cart, steak dinner and prizes. The cost is $25 for anyone wishing to enjoy just the steak dinner.

Proceeds from the golf outing will be go to the Divine Word College student scholarship fund. This fund helps the college cover the tuition and living expenses for its students. All students receive scholarship support and many receive full scholarships.

Last year Divine Word students received more than $1.3 million in scholarship assistance.
