Recognizing that many individuals would like to cultivate richer, deeper and more satisfying lives, Hillcrest Family Services and Shalom Spirituality Center are co-sponsoring a program titled Discover the "More Than" in Daily Life. The public is invited to attend this free program which will be held from 7:00 to 8:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 28 at Hillcrest Family Services, Hadley Chapel, 2005 Hillcrest Road, Dubuque, IA.

Presenter Lynn Underwood, Ph.D., author of Spiritual Connection in Daily Life, will reflect on 16 questions from the Daily Spiritual Experience Scale that can help one find moments of deep peace and satisfaction in day-to-day life. She will discuss how spirituality is often overlooked yet many believe that spirituality has a positive impact on the quality of life, such as less burnout and better relationships, and yet is overlooked. Underwood will explain how paying attention to ordinary experiences can help us feel more alive and cultivate richer, deeper and more satisfying lives.
