The Young Entrepreneurs Academy (YEA!) is a groundbreaking program that guides students in Middle and High School through the process of starting a real business. The YEA! class of 2016-17 will be presenting their business plans to a panel of investors on April 4, 2017 at the Hotel Julien Dubuque from 6-8 p.m.
 
Students will share their business plan and request funding from the investors to help run their businesses. The panel of judges will hear each of the presentations and then deliberate on the amount of money to fund each business. The panel will also select one student business as the Saunders Scholarship Semi-Finalist to represent Dubuque in Rochester, New York to compete against 100 plus other YEA! students from across the country.
