Event Description:

Taste of the World celebrates Dubuque's diversity and multicultural community through cultural displays, performances, and food samples from around the world. This is an authentic cultural experience for the entire family. Last year's event brought over 1,000 community members together to celebrate and learn about the variety of cultures living in Dubuque.

Attendees can expect to visit food booths and displays of 20 cultures including Bahamas, Belgium, China, Colombia (2), Dominican Republic, Greece, India, Jamaica, Kenya, Latvia, Marshall Islands, Mexico (2), New Zealand, Pakistan, Puerto Rico, United Kingdom, USA - Black Soul Food, and USA - Hawaii.

Fifteen diverse performances will also entertain throughout the event including a youth cultural fashion show, MFC hip hop, Capoeira and a variety of cultural songs and dances. Multicultural children's arts and crafts activities will also take place.

Fees/Admission:
Admission to the event is free of charge. A suggested donation of $5 per person or $15 per family at the door is appreciated but not required. Donations will go toward programming provided by the Multicultural Family Center.
