Do you know of someone who has a family member in a nursing home, yet they offer them additional services and care? Do you or someone you know have a neighbor who does caregiving for an aging parent at home or gives assistance such as emotional, financial, nursing, social, homemaking on an intermittent basis?

Powerful Tools for Caregivers is designed to enable caregivers to better care for themselves. If a caregiver takes good care of themselves, they will be better prepared to take good care of their loved ones. Participants learn to reduce stress, improve self-confidence, communicate feelings better, balance their lives, increase their ability to make tough decisions and locate helpful resources.

The 90 minute program will run for six consecutive weeks beginning on Saturday, April 7th thru May 12th from 9 ? 10:30 A.M. at Oak Park Place. The cost is $30.00 for the six weeks and includes the participant book.
