Event Description:

The 11th annual Opening Doors Dash will feature fun for the whole family! Join us on April 30, 2016 for the Star Wars themed 5K run & walk and 1/2 mile children's fun run.

The event will take place on the Jaycees Trail, which some runners claim is the "flattest, fastest" 5K route on the Mississippi...or at least in Dubuque!

Registration begins at 7:30am, the ½ Fun Run at 8:30am, and the 5K at 9am. Activities, prizes, and awards for top finishers in each age bracket. Team and individual prizes for individual with most pledges, team with the most participants, and best Star Wars costumes for adults and children. Race officiated by the MVRA.

Register by going online to www.openingdoorsdbq.org or by picking up a form at Big Apple Bagels. During the event, FREE childcare provided by Grand View Child Development Center for registered participants. Complimentary food and refreshments provided.
