Renowned Children’s Entertainer David Landau to perform at free L&MOP children’s concert.
The Northeast Iowa School of Music (NISOM) welcomes children’s entertainer David Landau to the December performance of the popular Lollipops & Music for Our Preschoolers (L&MOP) concert series on Saturday, December 9, 2017 at 10AM at the Carnegie-Stout Public Library. The December concert will feature renowned Children’s Entertainer, David Landau. An educational, entertaining, and motivating performer, Landau is sure to thrill the young audience with his interactive performance. A former first grade teacher, David Landau is an award-winning musician and recording artist who has made a name for himself as a fun and silly children’s entertainer. His upbeat musical programs keep children engaged and constantly thinking. The kids will sing some, move some, act some, dance some, shout just a little bit, and laugh a bunch.
Mr. Landau’s performance is part of NISOM’s free L&MOP monthly concert series for children and their families. Concerts are held one Saturday of each month, October through April, at 10:00AM at Carnegie Stout Public Library in Dubuque.
All ages are welcome to attend these 30-minute concerts that expose children to a variety of musical styles and instruments.
The 2017-18 season of L&MOP is sponsored by Drs. Mark Niemer and Yasyn Lee, in honor of their children and their teachers. Located in Fountain Park in Dubuque, the Northeast Iowa School of Music provides arts education in the Tri-State area for persons of all ages, musical abilities, and economic backgrounds. The school is a non-profit organization and a certified member of the National Guild for Community Arts Education. NISOM also provides a variety of outreach programs and holds numerous public concerts and performances throughout the year.
