“Lyrics Alive” offers audiences a tremendous opportunity to witness three of the greatest operatic talents of a generation “cabaret style” in the incredible acoustical setting of John and Alice Butler Hall. Dubuque native and tenor Eric Ferring joins soprano Ann Toomey and baritone Ricardo José Rivera in a diverse program which may include opera, art song, Broadway standards, folk, jazz, and more, with piano accompaniment.
“Lyrics Alive” presents acclaimed performers from The Patrick G. and Shirley W. Ryan Opera Center, Lyric Opera of Chicago’s artist development program, in a performance of solos and ensembles in a recital-format program.
