With summer right around the corner, families will have more free time with their children to take a vacation, relax at the pool or just explore their community. Because most summer activities are outdoors and require traveling, it's helpful to know what smartphone features can help you plan all aspects of your next adventure and add to your enjoyment while you are on the road.
According to a recent U.S. Cellular survey, 68 percent of smartphone owners used their device to assist them when they travel. Knowing how to use your iPhone 6 or iPad Air 2 to book flights, download guidebooks, navigate a new city or stay entertained during a long car ride can greatly enhance and simplify life, which is why U.S. Cellular wants to show you the tips and tricks of using your devices to the fullest.
U.S. Cellular will offer a free Device Workshop, where current or potential smartphone users can ask questions and learn about any device. The workshop is open to everyone. You don't have to be a U.S. Cellular customer to attend. "We want the community to be sure they can get the most out of their devices while enjoying their summer," said Erryn Andersen, U.S. Cellular's director of sales in Iowa and Nebraska. "No matter if you are enjoying a backyard BBQ or traveling across the country, your device paired with our national coverage will allow you to stay connected with friends and family this summer."
