Earth Day serves as a great reminder for how people can impact the environment and what we changes could be made to positively impact the environment. U.S. Cellular associates will help smartphone users stay green during a free Device Workshop in Dubuque. Attendees will learn how to reduce, reuse and recycle from the palm of their hand and use their devices, such as the iPhone 7 or Samsung Galaxy S7.
Individuals do not need to be U.S. Cellular customers to attend.
“Our associates are available to show you how to use your devices to become more environmentally friendly,” said Mike Adams, U.S. Cellular’s director of sales in Iowa and Nebraska. “As people continue to upgrade to new phones, they keep their old devices and end up with a drawer full of older phones. We are happy to show you how to clear personal data off a device and help recycle in an environmentally sound manner.”
During the workshop, U.S. Cellular associates can demonstrate how to delete content, recycle older devices and download apps to help people become more environmentally conscience.
