The 22nd Annual "Strut Your Mutt" walk for the animals will be held on Saturday, May 16 at the Dubuque Regional Humane Society. Registration is from 8 - 9 AM and the walk starts at 9 AM. Walk your dog along Chavenelle Road starting and ending at Kinsey's Campus. You do not need to have a dog to walk!
Registration is $25 ($35 day of) and kids 10 and under are free. Earn prizes for raising pledges. Prizes given for the individual with the most pledges and for the team with the most participants. Food, fun, giveaways, bounce house, and games for kids, adults and dogs from 9 AM to Noon.
Sign up three ways: (1) Register and raise pledges online at www.dbqhumane.org. (2) Pick up a registration packet at our front desk. (3) Download a registration packet from our web site. This year we are bringing this event back to its humble beginnings - as a leisurely walk to celebrate our precious pooches - not a timed 5K run. All proceeds help our lost, abandoned, and unwanted animals.
