You won't be racing to beat the clock at this workshop. You'll be making the clock. Come to "Making a Gourd Clock" at Sinsinawa Mound, Saturday, March 21, 9 a.m.-noon, to make a one-of-a-kind clock. Terri Schmit, the "gourd girl," will lead you through all the steps. Using a flat section of gourd, students will create a clock and add the clock mechanism. You will use wire, beads, paints, and dyes (wear old clothes) to make fun clocks. By the end of the session, you'll have time on your hands.
All the materials will be provided except the clock batteries. The cost of the workshop is $45.
