Who: Did you know that you live in the Driftless region?
What: The Driftless Area is a stretch of land (24,000 sq mi) between SW Minnesota, SW Wisconsin, NE Iowa, and NW Illinois. It is the area that escaped glaciation during the last ice age, and left the steep ridges and deeply-carved river valleys.
Why: This educational and entertaining film of our area will include live narration by LaCrosse geologist George Howe.
