4:00 - 5:00pm — CHECK-IN
5:00 - 6:00pm — CAR VOTING CONTESTS
6:00 - 7:30pm — RACE TOURNAMENT
7:30 - 8:00pm — AWARDS CEREMONY

Those familiar with the Boy Scouts of America will understand that the Pinewood Derby was the coolest thing those little nerds ever did. For the uninitiated, the concept is simple—carve a wood block into a custom car shape, paint it, add wheels, then race it against your buds on a giant gravity-powered ramp. It's time to re-live that glory now, as adults, who can drink beers, have fun and win prizes for speed and design. Car Specifications: Maximum width - 2-3/4" Maximum Length - 7" Maximum Weight - Not over 5 Ounces Minimum width between wheels - 1-3/4" Minimum bottom clearance underneath the body (so it does not rub on the track guide) - 3/8"

Registrants are responsible for acquiring their own Pinewood Derby starter kit from which to create their vehicle. We recommend purchasing through BSA—they have the best prices and excellent customer support. Registrants are welcome to enter multiple cars, assuming they pay a registration fee per car. Registrants may be multiple people (a group) for a single car. Register a car as an individual or group of friends here: Attendance is free and open to the public.
