Join us for a magical 1.5 hour guided journey on one of America’s most historic rivers.  Explore the Mississippi River and its backwaters just like Tom Sawyer & Huckleberry Finn.  Take in its abundance of wildlife, historical vignettes, geological curiosities and spectacular riverscapes that make this tour one of Galena’s most unforgettable side trips.  Tour includes Alpine Slide/Scenic Chair Ride to and from departure area. Reservation must be made no later than 11am the day of the tour.  The cost is $45 per person.  Please check-in at Chestnut’s Mountainside Outfitter by 1:30pm to ensure that you make the 2pm launch time.
