The Grandview Gallop is a 4-mile run/walk that attracts nearly 1,000 participants. The event starts and finishes at Murphy Park near the southern end of South Grandview Avenue in Dubuque. This year's event begins at 8 a.m. on June 8. The America's River Junior Gallop, a 1-mile event for children 12 years old and younger, starts from the same location at 7:30 a.m. Registration is available Friday, June 7 from 4 - 8 p.m. No race day registration.
The Grandview Gallop is a chip-timed event sponsored by The Finley Hospital, Hy-Vee, The Shoe Shack, TH Media and the Mississippi Valley Running Association. Proceeds benefit Crescent Community Health Center and Live Healthy Dubuque/Go the Distance Day. Each participant receives a Asics Hydrology Tech Tee and refreshments.

REGISTRATION PACKETS
Packets may be picked up the day before the race, Friday, June 7, from 4-8 p.m. at Murphy Park or on the morning of the race from 6-7 a.m. No race day registration.
AWARDS
Awards are given to the top three finishers in each age division. Special awards and running shoes are given to the overall male and female finishers. (Unclaimed awards will not be forwarded.)
POST-EVENT ACTIVITIES
Following the run/walk and award presentation, participants will be treated to entertainment, refreshments and an Athletic Footwear & Apparel Expo. Ten pairs of running shoes will be given away! A souvenir race supplement will be mailed to every runner. The awards presentation will take place at approximately 9:30 a.m.
