DESCRIPTION:For many\, the Festival of Trees signals the start of the holiday season! The Chamber will continue this tradition by hosting this year's festival at the beautiful Hotel Julien Dubuque.\n\n					\n\n					Festival of Trees will begin\n\n					November 26 - December 3\, 2011\n\n					\n\n					Opening Night\n\n					Saturday\, November 26\n\n					\n\n					Winter Carnival\n\n					3 - 6 pm\n\n					Complimentary to attend\n\n					\n\n					Join us in spreading holiday cheer at the Festival of Trees Opening Night Winter Carnival. Holiday vendors will line Main Street with delicious food\, warm drinks and one-of-a-kind holiday goodies. You can even spot some of your favorite holiday friends like Buddy the Elf\, Frosty the Snowman\, Rudolf\, and the Grinch! View a vintage 1948 fire truck or enjoy a choir performance by Dubuque Senior High School. Master of Ceremony\, Mayor Roy D. Buol will begin the tree lighting ceremony which signals the official start of the 2011 Festival of Trees.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Opening Night Reception\n\n					6:30 pm\n\n					$25 per person\n\n					\n\n					 Prepare to put on your holiday best and get out your dancing shoes as we celebrate the Festival with our Opening Night Reception. The music for the evening will be provided by Hunter Fuerste and his American Vintage Orchestra sponsored by DuTrac Community Credit Union.\n\n					\n\n					Hors d'oeuvres \, wine & beer are included.\n\n					\n\n					To register for the reception\, click here.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Santa's Workshop\n\n					Sunday\, November 27\n\n					1 - 4 pm\n\n					$10 per child\n\n					\n\n					Children bring your parents for lots of holiday fun at Santa's\n\n					Workshop! Create a holiday art project\, hear a story from Mrs. Claus or enjoy a holiday treat.\n\n					\n\n					Photos with Santa will be available during this time for an additional $5. \n\n					\n\n					 Children under 16 must be accompanied by an adult.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Cookie Walk\n\n					Sunday\, November 27\n\n					1 - 4 pm\n\n					$10 per bucket\n\n					\n\n					Come early for this Festival favorite. Purchase a bucket and fill it up with holiday treats! Cookies are sure to sell quickly and once they are gone\, the event will close.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Fashion Show & Cake Auction\n\n					Tuesday\, November 29\n\n					5:30 - 6 pm | Cocktail Reception\n\n					6 - 7:30 pm | Fashion Show & Cake Auction\n\n					$10 per person\n\n					\n\n					The cake auction continues to be a Festival tradition with a fashionable twist. Join us for all of the latest fashions that our area businesses have to offer all while bidding on beautiful cakes created and donated by local celebrities & chefs.\n\n					\n\n					Looking for new wine selections? Participate in our Wine Pull for an additional $10.\n\n					\n\n					Champagne & chocolates included.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Senior Day\n\n					Wednesday\, November 30\n\n					We invite all of our seniors - young at heart - to view the beautiful array of trees from 10 am - 4 pm. Coee\, cookies and caroling will be provided\n\n					from 2 - 3 pm.\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					\n\n					Closing of the 2011 Festival\n\n					Saturday\, December 3rd at noon\n\n					We ask that all bids be submitted no later than noon on Saturday\, December 3rd.
