Name: Survival Beekeeping
Date: March 8, 2018
Time: 6:30 PM - 8:30 PM CST
Event Description:

Thursdays, Feb 15, Mar 8, April 12, 2018 |

This three-class, six-hour course will be beneficial to all beekeepers or those with knowledge of beekeeping and honeybees, but beginners are also welcome. Learn the techniques needed to survive in the business. Our present beekeeping world contains many obstacles to prevent a beekeeper from making a profit, some of the worst being agricultural sprays such as Roundup and fungicides - both kill honeybees.

Learn how to produce your own queens from survival colonies and how to develop colonies that can survive not only the sprays, but our harsh winters as well.
