Shalom Spirituality Center's Fall Breakfast
Shalom Fall Breakfast:
Fall of Life to Spring of Life
Presenter: Dana Koos, Shalom's Development Director
Tuesday, September 19, 7:30am-8:30am
The community, religious communities, grandparents, and immediate family play important roles in the process of introducing spirituality to small children. Dana, mother of an almost-three-year-old, will share about her role as a new parent in this process, as well as what resources are available and best practices for launching a spiritual journey as a (both nuclear and extended) family.
Come welcome fall by joining us for a hearty, delicious breakfast complete with the wonderful comfort foods our kitchen always provides, socializing with old friends and new, and reflecting with Dana on the meaning of family! It’s worth getting up early!
Dana Koos joined Shalom Spirituality Center in March 2016 as the Director of Development, which includes volunteer coordination. Dana is originally from Dubuque, IA. She earned a Bachelor’s degree in English Literature from Clarke University and a Master’s degree in Communication from the University of Dubuque.
