Dubuque Intermodal Transportation Center! The Dubuque Intermodal
Transportation Center project is designed to improve access to The Jule
and other transportation services in and around Dubuque. The project consists of three main components:
- Intermodal terminal which serves as the downtown transfer location and connection to Burlington Trailways in Dubuque
- Three-level parking facility with 92 spaces dedicated for commuters and daily users to park and ride the bus
- Bus storage facility that will serve as the new operations center for the Jule, replacing its current aging facility and reusing an existing city-owned site.
Bus Service:
The intermodal terminal and downtown transfer is located along Elm Street and features:
- public restrooms
- indoor and outdoor seating areas
- bike parking
- electronic signage showing next bus arrival times
- ticket windows for The Jule, Burlington Trailways and Lamers bus services

Bike and Car Parking:
The new three-level parking structure will accommodate 292 parking spaces and will also include bicycle storage to support commuter travel and recreational bicycle use. A pedestrian bridge connects the parking structure and terminal. 92 spaces are reserved for transit users. For information on parking in the ramp, visit www.cityofdubuque.org/parking.
Parking Plus:
Parking Plus costs the same as a regular parking pass, but comes with added benefits:
- Park your car in the Parking Plus spaces on the second floor of the Intermodal parking ramp
- Swipe your parking pass on any Jule bus for free rides on any Jule route
- Store your bike in the first floor Intermodal Bike Lockers
