Presenter: Dave Cochran, Loras College.  Drawing on his book, Catholic Realism and the Abolition of War, Cochran will show why war is always immoral and why humanity can abolish it, just as we have with other forms of institutionalized violence, such as slavery or dueling, once thought both moral and inevitable.
