Event Description:
The public is invited to join the Sinsinawa Mound community in prayer for peace in our world and in our hearts at 12:30 p.m. Monday, Sept. 22. The service is being held in conjunction with the International Day of Peace, established by a United Nations resolution in 1981. This year's International Day of Peace theme recognizes the 30th United Nations General Assembly Declaration on the Right of Peoples to Peace. Join millions of people around the world recognizing that the promotion of peace is vital for the full enjoyment of all human rights.

Sinsinawa Mound, the Motherhouse for the Sinsinawa Dominican Sisters, is located in southwest Wisconsin on County Road Z, off Highway 11, about five miles northeast of Dubuque.
