Event Description:

In this four-session workshop: Learn nine steps for "communicating properly with cultural others. Each step builds on the ones before. Explore what "racial equity" means and why it's important. Discover the power of communicating that is "as personal as possible" and that "helps uniqueness meet." Develop three crucial multicultural competence skills: curiosity, humility and platinum empathy.

Pre- registration required. Deadline September 15. $25 class fee for book and other materials. Cash/checks made payable to Multicultural Family Center.
