Lollipops and Music for Our Preschoolers (L&MOP), a free and fun monthly concert series that exposes children and their families to a variety of musical styles and instruments. These high-energy concerts are 10:00-10:30AM on Saturday mornings at Carnegie-Stout Public Library. The regular L&MOP season will run October 2016 through May 2017 on the second Saturday of the month.
See a different performer each month! Children leave with a greater appreciation of music and a lollipop. All ages are welcome to attend these concerts.
The 2016-17 season of L&MOP is sponsored by the Northeast Iowa School of Music and Drs. Mark Niemer and Yasyn Lee, in honor of their children and their teachers.
The April performance will feature the Dubuque Chorale Children's Choir.
Dubuque Chorale Children’s Choir is a group of approximately 50 singers in grades 4-6. Under the direction of Karmella Sellers, the choir empowers and mentors children through music by using discipline, teamwork, and creativity to produce works of beauty and art.
