Event Description:

Share your talent at our 8th annual Juneteenth Celebration, Saturday, June 17 from 1-4pm at Comiskey Park (24th and Jackson St).

Pre-registration and audition required!  

Deadline to register to audition is Friday, May 26. Performances should be 3-5 minutes long, and winners will be chosen by a panel of judges. We encourage your performance to reflect themes of the Juneteenth holiday, such as freedom and African-American achievement.

Youth Division - Age 13 and younger
Entry fee: $5.00
Cash prize: 1st place $75, 2nd place $50

Young Adult/Adult Division - Age 14 and older
Entry fee: $10
Cash prize: 1st place $200, 2nd place $100

Auditions will take place at the MFC on Saturday, June 3 from 10am-12pm.
