You are invited to join others in exploring the values and charisma of these beloved saints. In a world in need of Gospel values, St. Francis and St. Clare show us a way to be faithful.
The Franciscan Way of Life is a two-year program available to men and women of all faiths who want to learn more about Franciscan Gospel values and how to incorporate those values into daily life. In the first year, participants learn about the stories of Saints Francis and Clare, medieval Italy, as well as the Franciscan values of conversion, poverty, and contemplation. In the second year, the focus of the program is on the integrity of creation, peacemaking, the development of the Franciscan community, and the history of the Dubuque Franciscans.
