Event Description:
Community Connections is a program that gives nonprofit organizations a forum for communication, insight, and support. During the hour-long meeting, we will feature speakers or a panel to share information on topics pertaining to nonprofits and their needs. We will also have meetings that have an open discussion for attendees on predetermined topics to find best practices. These events are interactive with time for connecting with other attendees and Q&A with the speakers and panels. Community Connections is hosted by the Chamber for like-minded people who are passionate about nonprofits or for people interested in connecting with a nonprofit.

"Interested in growing your donor giving? Learn how Fidelity Bank & Trust's Cash Management can help you take control." Hear from Derek Olberding and Jessi Undelhofen in our third quarter Community Connections.

Fidelity Bank & Trust is privileged to present our business customers with the option of electronic giving, also known as tithing. This modern service gives the non-profits the ability to receive electronic monetary gifts and payments out of the givers pre-designated account. This secure and confidential service will provide a reliable method for receiving funds. This feature is beneficial for non-profits for their financial planning.  The non-profit will have the donor sign a direct payment form authorizing the scheduled tithe to be deducted automatically from a checking or savings account. The tithe will be made on a specified date and automatically sent to the non-profit. All you will need is a business checking account with Fidelity Bank & Trust, sign up for Online Banking?s Cash Management and the non-profit can begin accepting donations. Fidelity Bank & Trust has a full suite of business accounts to meet your business? needs.

Derek Olberding, Vice President of Commercial and Business Banking at Fidelity Bank & Trust, has been working with businesses and non-profits for the last 11 years to find solutions to grow their businesses.  Having experience in both the deposit and lending side, Olberding helps build solutions that can take your business to the next level.
