Event Description:
Sinsinawa Art Gallery presents The Love of Quilting Is Our Common Thread, the 24th annual quilt exhibit Oct. 3-Nov. 30, 2014. The show features quilts having a connection to either a Sinsinawa Dominican Sister or a Mound staff person. Each year's exhibit features quilts not previously displayed. Two of the quilts in this year's show were made by women in the United States who used hand-dyed fabric scraps from a Fair Trade cooperative in India.

The money raised from the sale of the two quilts will go to support the Indian women who belong to the cooperative and their children.
