The focus of the program will be the book Falling Upward: A Spirituality for the Two Halves of Life by Fr. Richard Rohr. Each session will begin with prayer and each participant will be given a booklet to aid personal reflection throughout the day. Faith-sharing and prayer will conclude each day.
In this book, Rohr presents a new paradigm for understanding one of the most profound of life’s mysteries: how our failings can be the foundation for our ongoing spiritual growth. He takes us on a journey to help us to see how the heartbreaks, disappointments, and “first loves” of early adulthood are actually steppingstones to the spiritual joys that the second half of life has in store for us.
